Coins, currency, bullion, gold, jewelry, watches, gemstones and small antiques — photographed and described in detail, put in front of a national bidder pool, and paid out one week after the auction closes. Gold and coins over $500 consign at zero commission.
We specialize in numismatics and precious metals, but the same weekly bidder pool buys jewelry, watches and estate collectibles too.
Morgan and Peace dollars, Carson City, mint and proof sets, wheat cents, type coins, foreign issues, graded and raw, paper currency, and collections built over decades.
Gold, silver and platinum bars and rounds in all weights and purities, junk silver, and accumulation lots.
Rings, necklaces, bracelets and earrings in gold, silver and platinum, including estate pieces and jewelry you are ready to part with.
Vintage, classic and luxury timepieces, working or not, from single pieces to full collections.
Compact estate items that travel and ship well and find a real audience among collectors.
Commission is charged per item on the winning bid price. Coins that close at $500 or more carry no commission at all, and neither does gold.
No listing fee, no photography fee, no advertising fee. Two small charges apply in specific cases:
Call, email or send the form below with a description of what you have. Every consignment is scheduled in advance — we set a date and time to receive your items before anything is dropped off or shipped. This applies to mailed consignments too.
Bring them to us in Cornell at your scheduled time, or ship them insured. Either way, include a written list of what's in the consignment so we can check it against what arrives.
High-end and rare pieces take precedence in scheduling over common-date and duplicate material. Once your items are listed, you get a consignor report by email with every lot and its lot number to review.
Auctions close Tuesday evenings. Your check is written one week after the auction ends. A small number of lots have delayed buyer payment; in those cases you're paid as soon as we're paid. Unsold items come back to you.
Between intake and settlement your material is in our hands, and that's the part most consignors think hardest about. Receiving is by appointment only, every lot is checked against the inventory you provide, and coins move to the vault as soon as they're listed.
Call, email, or send photos and a rough description. We'll tell you what we think the material will bring, how we'd schedule it, and what it will cost you — before you commit to anything. The form below reaches us directly.
“Absolute smooth experience! I listed my wedding ring and was able to sell it for a price more than I expected! I appreciate their professionalism and superb service! All the specs and photos that advertised my ring attracted many offers. I am very pleased and would use their service again!”
“I recently met Cat and Jeremy and inquired about a silver coin collection that I had. It was related to hunting in North America. We discussed my options and to the auction it went. I am very pleased with the outcome and definitely exceeded my expectations. Great people running a great business that work hard to ensure your item is in front of a huge audience!!”
“For several years I have participated in auctions with Wilson Creek. I've gotten to know them well enough to comfortably recommend them to anyone selling or buying numismatic items. They will deal honestly, fairly and as quickly as possible. Between Jeremy and Cat you can expect an honest answer and best effort.”
“We have bought and sold items with these guys. They do an amazing job with descriptions and got top dollar for our items.”
Contact us with a description of the collection and we'll schedule a time to look at it, in person in Cornell or by mail. You don't need to know what any of it is — that's our job. We'll sort it, identify what's worth cataloguing individually and what belongs in a mixed lot, list it with detailed photos and descriptions, and send you a consignor report before the auction opens.
Nothing up front, and no listing, photography or advertising fees. Commission is charged per item on the winning bid price on a sliding scale — it starts at 25% on low-value lots and drops as the price rises. Coins with a winning bid of $500 or more carry no commission at all, and gold is always 0%. The only other charges are $1 per item that doesn't sell, and a $20 reserve fee if you set a reserve and the bidding doesn't reach it.
Your check is written one week after the auction ends. If a particular lot has delayed buyer payment, you're paid on that lot as soon as we receive the funds.
Yes. Notify us first so we can schedule the receiving, then double-box the items, tape the seams well, insure the shipment for its full value, and enclose a list of the contents. Let us know when the package ships, and we'll text or call you when it arrives.
We'll evaluate your collection at no cost as part of a consignment consultation and give you an honest read on what it should bring at auction. That's a market evaluation for auction purposes, not a formal written appraisal for insurance or probate — if you need that, tell us and we'll point you in the right direction.
Yes. We regularly take consignments from Eau Claire, Chippewa Falls, Rice Lake, Wausau and across Wisconsin, plus mailed consignments from out of state. Bidding is online and nationwide, so where your items come from doesn't limit who bids on them.
Weekly auctions, a national bidder pool, and a check one week after close.
